Celebrate

Glasgow Pride welcomes and celebrates everyone, regardless of their age, ethnicity, sexuality, gender identity, background, class, ability, belief system, culture, or walk of life. Every person deserves to feel safe, proud, and united with their community. We celebrate living as your true self, without judgment or persecution.

Advocate

Glasgow Pride cultivates diversity, equity, and inclusion by raising awareness, sharing knowledge, and creating opportunities for connection with and for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies. We advocate for change, acceptance, and inclusion for all.

Respect

Glasgow Pride respects and welcomes everyoneʼs individuality. Everything we do is driven by love and compassion. We listen, reflect, and act with transparency and empathy. We understand the responsibility we hold to our community and are committed to running our organization with integrity.

Equity

Glasgow Pride’s work toward diversity, equity, and inclusion seeks to eliminate discrimination on the grounds of gender identity, gender expression, or sexual orientation. We promote activities which foster understanding between individuals from diverse backgrounds, especially LGBTQ+ individuals and our community.

Safety

Glasgow Pride understands that the safety and wellbeing of the LGBTQ+ community is of utmost importance. As a marginalized group, it is important to consider how our actions could impact individuals’ physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We take appropriate measures to advocate for the safety and security of LGBTQ+ individuals and our community at all times.
